How many credits does a video consume?
Every video has a base processing fee of 10 credits, plus 1 credit for every 3 seconds of video length. For example, a 1-minute clip costs 30 credits, a 3-minute SOP costs 70 credits, and a 5-minute video tutorial costs 110 credits.
What happens if a video fails to process?
You only pay for successful results. If a video fails during processing due to download errors, geo-blocks, or private restrictions, our system automatically refunds the charged credits to your wallet instantly. If a failure occurs later in the pipeline, simply email refundsop@stepstack.live and our support system will credit your account immediately.
Do my purchased credits expire?
All purchased credits are valid for a full 365 days. We consume your soonest-expiring credits first (FIFO) so you never have to worry about managing your wallet balance.
How do the daily free quotas work with my wallet credits?
Every user receives free daily video capacity (1 free video up to 6 minutes on the Hobby tier; 10 free videos up to 12 minutes on the Founders tier). Our billing engine resolves this automatically: your free daily quota is always used first. Your purchased wallet credits are only touched if your video exceeds the free duration cap or you have already exhausted your free daily video count.
